About Gunnar Elgersma

Gunnar Elgersma is a Norway-based photographer working in the space between documentary and fine art photography. Guided by light, color, and the fleeting moments he encounters, he seeks the quiet beauty that reveals itself in both the everyday and the unexpected. His work often centers on people in nature, architecture, and family.

Elgersma works with analog processes, hand-developing and printing his photographs. This tactile approach allows him to materialize the emotion present in the moment a landscape or intimate scene is touched by light, and to share that experience with the viewer.
